Cristiano Ronaldo stole the spotlight once again as Real Madrid moved closer to the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday.

Many would have seen a trip to Turin to clash with Juventus as a daunting task for Zinedine Zidane’s men, however, they once again emerged over the Serie A champions in a rematch of the 2016-17 tournament final.

It took just three minutes for Madrid’s Portuguese superstar to hit the net – setting a record in the process for scoring in 10 straight Champions League outings.

Ronaldo’s second will be the moment that the match is remembered for though, as he met a cross from Dani Carvajal with a perfect bicycle kick that even earned plaudits from opposition supporters. A second half red card to Paolo Dybala, coupled with a third goal from Marcelo, sees Madrid in a very comfortable position before the return fixture.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich had to come from behind to secure a 2-1 away win against Sevilla. Pablo Sarabia gave the Spanish side a lead in the 32nd minute, however, an unfortunate own goal from Jesus Navas would soon cancel out the advantage. Thiago Alcántara would score in the second half to give Bayern a valuable buffer.

Here are some of the best pics to come from Wednesday morning’s action:
