It was a tough start to the 2018 Asian Champions League campaign for A-League sides Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC.

Hosting Ulsan Hyundai on Tuesday evening, Kevin Muscat’s men did little to inspire their fans after needing to equalise on three separate occasions to earn a draw. Mislav Orsic hit the net twice along with Richard Windbichler, however, this was cancelled out by Leroy George’s own brace (who’s performance was probably the only highlight for Melbourne) and a second half goal from Rhys Williams – which was also assisted by the Dutchman.
