Two Socceroos goalkeepers have sealed silverware abroad overnight.
Danny Vukovic and Brad Jones were crowned champions of Belgium and Saudi Arabia respectively with KRC Genk and Al Nassr.
It is Vukovic’s first piece of silverware since leaving Sydney FC for Genk in 2017 and ensures the club will compete in the Champions League next season.
Jones meanwhile won the title to cap off his first season with Al Nassr, in which he kept 11 clean sheets.
Al Nassr finished just one point ahead of fellow local giants Al Hilal, Milos Degenek’s club.
Another Australian to win a league title abroad this season was Tom Rogic, who sealed his fourth Scottish Premier League championship with Celtic.
All up, it was the Hoops’ eighth in a row.
