Ryan Williams will be playing Championship football next season after Rotherham United returned to the second tier with a 2-1 win over Shrewsbury Town.
It was to be just one season in the third tier for the Millers, who won the game in the 13th minute of extra time through brace hero Richard Wood.
Williams was introduced in the 75th minute as Rotherham joined Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic in the Championship.
The winger flew the flag for the Australian contingent in the EFL play-offs after Mile Jedinak and Aston Villa fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham, missing out on promotion to the Premier League.
45th game of the season tonight, first season in Europe done and dusted! Great way to end it, qualifying for Europa League! Heading into @Socceroos camp with the boys tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone and starting this amazing experience! 🇦🇺

Danny Vukovic meanwhile clinched a ticket to the Europa League as Racing Genk defeated Zulte Waregem 2-0 in Belgium.
Vukovic manned the posts and kept a clean sheet, ending the season in the perfect way.
He will now jet into Socceroos camp in Antalya, Turkey; the final player to do so.
