Though he may be an unfamiliar name to many, Campbelltown born teenager Tyrese Francois is proving a hot commodity in Europe.
On the books at Fulham FC since 2017, a report from Sky Sports News has linked Francois, 18, with English sides Crystal Palace and Bristol City, Scottish giants Celtic and Spanish club Valencia.
With his contract with Fulham set to expire in June, Sky Sports News is reporting that the diminutive Francois is likely to be offered a new contract in order to keep him at Craven Cottage.
The report also states, however, that Valencia is confident in their ability to lure the youngster to Estadio de Mestalla.
Francois moved to England with his family six-years-ago and has a younger brother, Marlee, who is on the cusp of joining Championship side Bristol City.
Aware of the elder Francois’ situation, the Robins could potential offer him not only a chance to play with his younger brother but also a faster path to first-team football.
A midfielder, Francoise has started 17 games for the Lilywhites’ U23 side across the League Cup and Premier League 2 during the 2018-19 campaign; employed as an attacking, central and defensive midfielder.
Despite this Premier League pedigree, though, Francois has yet to represent Australia at any junior level so far in his career.
